How we’re different
Owner-led, selective, small on purpose
- When you call, you talk with the owner — not an intake team.
- Eytan meets the family and personally interviews every caregiver.
- Caregivers are W-2 employees on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
- Eytan stays involved for as long as you’re with us, not just to get care started. We’re small on purpose.
Fit
Who this is for — and who it isn’t
A good fit
- Danville, Alamo, and nearby East Bay families who need non-medical help at home
- Families who want to talk with the owner before anyone enters the home
Not what we do
- Skilled nursing or clinical medication administration
- Hospice clinical care, physical therapy, or Medicare home-health
- Facility-only shopping with no in-home care need
FAQ
Common questions
What are your hours?
Caregiving is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How quickly can you start care?
We can often start immediately when needed. If you know a hospital discharge date or overnight need in advance, call as early as you can so we can match a caregiver before the first shift.
Do you have a minimum number of hours?
Ask on the free consult for the current minimum for your situation. Schedules are built around what the household actually needs — a few hours, overnight, or more continuous coverage.
Is this medical home health or skilled nursing?
No. Liora provides non-medical in-home care: personal care, companionship, medication reminders (not administration), meals, household support, overnight presence, memory support, respite, and transportation when they’re part of the plan. We do not provide skilled nursing, medication administration, physical therapy, or hospice clinical care.
Who will I talk to when I call?
You talk with the owner, Eytan. Every consultation is with the owner, personally. If you hire us, he meets your family and helps match the caregiver.
Are your caregivers employees?
Yes. Caregivers are W-2 employees, background-checked, and registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry. Liora is a licensed California Home Care Organization (HCO #074700244), bonded and insured.
What makes Liora different from a large franchise home care agency?
We’re owner-led and small on purpose, so you get a real person (not a call center) and care that stays personal without losing reliability.
- You talk with the owner. Every call and follow-up goes through Eytan, not a rotating intake team.
- We hire slowly and selectively. Every caregiver is interviewed in person, and we only bring people on when we’re ready to vouch for them.
- We treat caregivers better. We pay about 25% above market, without passing that cost on to families.
- We’re built for accountability. Small enough to know your loved one and your caregiver; structured enough to show up reliably, day after day.
That’s the kind of dependable, personal care a large franchise usually can’t match.
How do we get started?
Call (925) 304-3300 or request a call. The conversation is free and there’s no obligation. If in-home care isn’t the right next step, we’ll say so and help you think through what is.
Which parts of Danville do you serve?
We serve families across Danville and nearby, including:
- Downtown Danville
- The Diablo corridor
- Nearby Alamo
- Blackhawk
Can you help after a discharge from San Ramon Regional Medical Center?
Yes. Many Danville families call when a loved one is coming home from San Ramon Regional Medical Center (or another local hospital) and needs help at home. We can often start immediately with personal care, medication reminders, meals, mobility support, or overnight presence. Call as soon as you know the discharge date so we can match a caregiver before the first shift.
Can a caregiver go with my loved one downtown on Hartz Avenue?
Yes. When outings are part of the care plan, companionship and senior transportation can include walks, errands, appointments, or time downtown on Hartz Avenue.
Can you help when needs have increased beyond what a spouse can manage?
Yes — companionship, personal care, medication reminders, overnight presence, and respite so a spouse or adult child isn’t carrying everything alone.
Do you provide memory support at home (not a facility)?
Yes. Memory support is non-medical help at home. See memory support. We’ll say clearly if another care level fits better.
How fast can overnight care start in Danville?
Caregiving runs 24×7. When overnight help is urgent, we can often start immediately if needed — call (925) 304-3300.
