Careers

This work matters — and the people who do it are at the heart of it.

Better conditions

W-2 employment, real training, and benefits caregivers actually use — not gig-contractor framing.

Better matches

Because we don’t chase volume, we can be more careful about clients and caregivers alike.

Less chaos

We only take what we’re ready to support well. Calm-by-design beats constant scramble.

Owner-led support

Eytan screens every hire and stays reachable when you need backup.

The role

Home Care Aide / Caregiver (non-medical) — in-home support for seniors and adults who need reliable help with daily living.

What you do

  • Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support
  • Companionship, meals, light housekeeping and laundry
  • Errands, shopping, and appointment escort when on the care plan
  • Safety supervision, clear daily notes, and team communication

How we work together

  • Owner-led — Eytan screens every hire and stays reachable when you need backup
  • Clear care plans and professional boundaries, so you’re never guessing
  • Deliberate matches — we don’t throw people into chaos just to fill a shift
  • You’re on a real team: communicate early, document clearly, own the quality of the visit

Non-medical home care only — California licensed Home Care Organization.

Who thrives here

You’ll be a strong fit if you bring

  • Professionalism — you treat this as skilled work, not “just a shift”
  • Rock-solid dependability — early is on time; the family can count on you every time
  • Clear communication & documentation — you say what matters, write accurate notes, and keep the team in the loop
  • Great judgment — calm, observant, and thoughtful when something feels off
  • Real ownership of care quality — you care how the visit went, not only that you showed up

Minimum to apply

  • Valid California driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Comfort with personal care (bathing, dressing, meals, mobility support, and similar)
  • Ability to travel across Contra Costa, Alameda, and Solano as needed
  • Availability for a minimum of 15 hours/week
  • At least 1 year of adult / senior care experience preferred

Nice to have: HCA / HHA / CNA, dementia or memory-support experience, East Bay familiarity. Before client work: background check, TB documentation, and CA Home Care Aide registry affiliation with Liora.

Kindness

How we show up for elders — and for each other.

Integrity

Especially when no one is watching.

Dependability

Early is on time. On time is late. Every shift.

Pay & benefits

Payroll, workers’ comp, and the protections that come with real employment.

Part-time or full-time. Paid by experience on a clear scale — above the local market for caregivers who bring professionalism, reliability, and real attention to dignity and safety.

Benefits that matter

Flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, paid orientation and training, sick leave, PTO, referral program.

Where you’ll work

East Bay home care — primarily Contra Costa, Alameda, and Solano counties. Office in Walnut Creek. Soft city examples: Walnut Creek, Concord, and nearby East Bay communities (exact shifts depend on client need and your availability).

How hiring works

1. Apply

Complete our caregiver application in full. Incomplete applications are not reviewed. Many people find us on Indeed first — then finish here.

2. Screen with Eytan

If you’re a fit, you’ll get an invite to book a 30-minute video conversation with the owner — not a call-center screen.

3. Onboard with care

Compliance docs, orientation, profile/badge, and setup before client shifts. We’d rather go slow than send the wrong person.

Found us on Indeed? Same next step — finish the full application linked in Apply.
